We visited Lambert Estate Wines on a cold, wet and crazily windy day on the advice of another winery that they had a good indoor play corner for the kids.
Turns out this place was a bit of a find. Slick, modern and incredibly parent friendly.
Highlights from a parents perspective were elevator access (great as our baby was asleep so we had easy access up to the tasting area on the upper level), a great corner for the kids with crayons and books, a kids menu in the restaurant, change table and high chairs.
Oh, and the wine. Did I mention the wine? We especially loved their aged Riesling, oaked Chardonnay and their Mustang Sally Shiraz.
Whilst this is a large, slick and modern cellar door, it’s very warm and welcoming with a lovely open fire on a winters day.
